Sourced entirely from our own vines, (as are all our wines,) the Estate range is designed to show off Nocton Vineyard’s specific flavours and characters. With little or no oak, we let our 200 million year old soils do the talking.
2014 China Wine & Spirits Awards (2013 vintage)
White peach aromas with a pebbly minerality and rich nectarine flavours on a strong, dry finish.
2017 Melbourne International Wine Show
Youthful red fruit aromas and a hint of vanilla lead onto a lush and totally satisfying palate with real length.
A dry, savoury white with stone fruit and rock melon and even some mango on the nose. But there is also wonderful lemon freshness and vibrancy in what is a very youthful wine.
At the moment this wine is exuberant and youthful with intense cranberry and redcurrant fruit. But you can see the Christmas pudding spices waiting to come out with a little more bottle age. Super ripe tannins wrap it all up in a delicious bundle. But beware, this is no shy maiden. It can pack a punch.
Although a non-vintage, this is a wine of class and complexity. The palate is dry and firm showing lemon pith, mandarin and chestnut and a strong, even finish.
